Its products include a spectrum of fixed income and mutual funds. It offers investment tools, outsourcing and advisory services to institutional investors. It also offers risk management and investment technology services to insurance companies, finance companies, pension funds, foundations, REITs, commercial and mortgage banks, savings institutions and government agencies. These services are provided under the brand name BlackRock Solutions to the clients over 60 countries, primarily the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan and Australia. As of August 2008, it acquired Impact Investing, an Australia based software development company.
