Emerson Electric Co. The Group's principal activities are to design, manufacture and sell electrical, electromechanical and electronic products, systems and services. The Process Management Segment includes systems and software, measurement and analytical instrumentation, valves, actuators and regulators. The Industrial Automation Segment includes industrial motors and drives, power transmission equipment, alternators, materials joining and precision cleaning. The Network Power Segment consists of uninterruptible power supplies, power conditioning and electrical switching equipment. The Climate Technologies Segment consists of compressors, temperature sensors and controls, thermostats and flow controls. The Appliance and Tools Segment includes general and special purpose motors and controls. During fiscal year 2008, the Group acquired Motorola Incs Embedded Computing business.
