Exelon Corporation. The Group's principal activities are carried out through three business segments: Exelon Generation consists of owned and contracted electric generating facilities, energy marketing operations, and retail electric and natural gas sales. Energy delivery business consists of the purchase and regulated sale of electricity and distribution and transmission services by ComEd in northern Illinois and by PECO in southeastern Pennsylvania. It also includes purchase and regulated sale of natural gas and distribution services by PECO in the Pennsylvania counties. Exelon Business Services Company, provides the Group with financial, human resource, legal, information technology, supply management and corporate governance services. The Group operates in the United States.
