General Dynamics Corporation. The Group's principal activity is to provide business aviation; land and expeditionary combat vehicles and systems, armaments, and munitions; shipbuilding and marine systems; and mission-critical information systems and technologies. It operates through four segments: Information Systems and Technology, Combat Systems, Marine Systems and Aerospace. The Information Systems and Technology segment provides systems integration expertise, hardware and software products and support services. The Combat Systems segment provides systems supplies land and expeditionary combat systems, tracked and wheeled armoured combat vehicles, armament systems and ammunition to the U.S. military and its allies. The Marine Systems segment designs, builds and supports submarines and ships for the Navy and commercial customers. The Aerospace segment designs, develops, manufactures and services a fleet of business-jet aircrafts. On Nov 2008, the group acquired Jet Aviation.
