The Group operates in three segments: Chicken segment includes sales of chicken products these are produces and purchase for resale in the U.S. including Puerto Rico and Mexico. Turkey segment includes sales of turkey products these are produces and purchases for resale in turkey and distribution operations, operating in the U.S. Other products segment includes distribution of non-poultry products that are purchased from third parties and sold to independent grocers and quick service restaurants. Its products are marketed in Canada, Mexico, Eastern Europe and the Far East. On 09-Jan-2007, the Group acquired Gold Kist Inc.
