PPL Corporation. The Group's principal activity is to generate and market electricity and to provide energy services for businesses. The Group operates in three segments: supply, delivery and international. The supply segment owns and operates power plants to generate electricity, markets electricity and other power purchases to deregulated wholesale and retail markets and develops and acquires domestic generation projects. The delivery segment provides electricity delivery services. The international segment includes the acquisition and holding of international energy projects for the distribution of energy. The Group delivers electricity to customers in Pennsylvania, the U.K. and Latin America and provides energy services for businesses in the mid-Atlantic and northeastern United States.
