Sanmina-SCI Corporation. The Group's principal activity is to provide customized integrated electronic manufacturing services. These services are provided to original equipment manufacturers, primarily in the communications, enterprise computing and storage, multimedia, industrial, semiconductor capital equipment, defence and aerospace, medical and automotive industries. The Groups operations consists of product design and engineering which include initial development, detailed design, prototyping, validation, preproduction services, manufacturing and design release. Also it consists volume manufacturing of subassemblies and complete systems, components and subassemblies, final system assembly and test, direct order fulfilment and after-market product service and support. The Customers of the Group are Locate, Applied Materials, Echo Star, Erikson, Hitachi, HP, IBM, Okie, Morel and Phillips Electronics. During the year 2008, the Group discontinued its PC business activities.
