The Group's principal activity is processing crude oil into petroleum products, resins and plastics, intermediate petrochemicals, synthetic fibres and others. Petroleum products includes producing vacuum and atmospheric gas oils, residual oil and low octane gasoline fuels, refined gasoline and diesel oil, jet fuels, heavy oils and liquefied petroleum gases. Resins and plastics includes producing polyester chips, low density polyethylene resins and films, polypropylene resins and PVA granules. Petrochemicals includes producing ethylene and benzene. Synthetic fibres includes producing polyester and acrylic fibres. Others include trading, consumer products and services and variety of commercial activities. The Group's operations are carried out in the People's Republic of China.
