The operations of the Group are conducted through four segments: Wireless, Wireline, Advertising and Publishing and Other. The wireless segment provides voice, data and other wireless communications services. The wireline segment provides both retail and wholesale landline communications services. Advertising and Publishing segment provide services related to directory advertising operations. This segment publishes and sells Yellow and White Pages directories. The other segment includes results from Sterling Commerce, Inc customer information services and all corporate and other operations. In 2008 it acquired Easterbrooke Cellular Corporation, Windstream Wireless, Wayport Inc and Edge Wireless.
