It operates through five segments: Tampa Electric: provides retail electric utility services. Peoples Gas System: purchases, distributes and markets natural gas for residential, commercial, industrial and electric power generation. TECO Coal: owns or operates surface and underground mines, synthetic fuel production facilities and coal processing and loading facilities. TECO Transport: provides waterborne transportation, storage and transfer services of coal and other dry-bulk commodities. TECO Guatemala is comprised of all Guatemalan operations. Other Unregulated: includes independent power operations and investments in Guatemala.
