The Group operates in two segments: Automotive and Others. Automotive segment includes the business of automotive products consisting of all types of commercial and passenger vehicles. Other segment includes construction equipment, engineering solutions, automotive components and software operations of subsidiaries. The Group also manufactures spare parts for vehicles, marine engines, casting and forging. The manufacturing plants are located in Jamshedpur, Pune, Lucknow and Dharwad. On 02-Apr-2008, the Group's subsidiary acquired 79% share capital of Serviplem, S. A., Zaragozai Spain and on 09-Apr-2009, it acquired 60% share capital of S. A., Zaragoza, Spain (Lebrero). During the year the Group acquired JaguarLandRo'ver Limited (JLR).
